Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Heads Up ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The App is operated by Corner Pocket Holdings LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Heads Up is a macOS application that provides real-time focus tracking during meetings. It monitors which application is in the foreground during active sessions, displays focus states to meeting participants, and provides session statistics.

Use of the App

You agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose of focus tracking during meetings
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App to monitor others without their knowledge or consent
• Not interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Accessibility & Permissions

Heads Up requires macOS Accessibility permission to detect which application is in the foreground and monitor keyboard/mouse activity. It optionally requests Calendar access (via macOS Calendar or Google Calendar) to display upcoming meetings. These permissions are used solely for the App's stated functionality. You can revoke these permissions at any time through macOS System Settings.

Google Calendar Integration

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, you authorize Heads Up to access your calendar events in read-only mode. Heads Up does not modify, delete, or share your calendar data. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the App's Settings or by revoking access from your Google Account permissions.

Heads Up's use of Google Calendar data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, graphics, and content, is owned by Corner Pocket Holdings LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corner Pocket Holdings LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
